Martin Nguyen is a Professor of Religious Studies at Fairfield University engaged in and committed to the work of Islam, theology, storytelling, and the religious imagination.

“A Path Forward” is part of the At The Threshhold theology film series, created by filmmakers Sean Dimond and John Harrison of Untamed. Filmed in early 2024 and released in July 2025 the film presents the nature of my work and the life that led me to it.
